I'm an experienced,
accredited counsellor and psychotherapist specialising
in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) -
a practical, solution focused
approach to relationship, work, family and personal problems,
and to overcoming the effects of
stress, anxiety, frustration and
depression.
I'm based in Finchley Road,
Hampstead, NW3 7AX. I also
offer Skype or phone therapy.

I will also work through methods and techniques with you that you can
use to respond to problems and challenges in helpful ways.
CBT therapy has been extensively researched and tested,
and is recommended for many issues by leading organisations
such as The National Institute for Care Excellence (NICE).

Issues I can help with include:
Stress and Anxiety
Including trouble switching off, trouble sleeping,
struggling to stop worrying,
social anxiety, performance anxiety,
panic attacks, health anxiety, OCD
and phobias including agoraphobia.
Depression
Including periods of low mood, feelings of loss, failure,
hopelessness, helplessness, rejection, loneliness or emptiness
and lack of motivation.
Anger
Struggling with
resentment or frustration.
Difficulty dealing with conflict.
Difficulty dealing with being badly treated.
Being more assertive.
Unhealthy cycles
Getting stuck in unhealthy cycles of
thinking and behaviour
including ruminating, catastrophising,
procrastination,
obsessive or compulsive tendencies,
bingeing and addictive tendencies.
Low confidence
Struggling with self-confidence, self-esteem or self-image.
Family and relationship problems
Pressures in family life. Problems with partners including
issues around sex and intimacy.

weekends. There is free parking near my practice
and it's well connected via public transport, being near
Finchley Road and West Hampstead underground, overground and Thameslink stations, and bus routes 13, 113, 328, 139 and C11.
